A Safe Space to Be You
I'm Heidi Koepnick, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional wellness. I specialize in working with children, teens, adults, and couples facing issues such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
Grounded in a client-centered approach, I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Family Systems Theory (FST), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support healing and personal growth. My personal values are Christian-based that honors a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and maintain ongoing professional development through workshops, supervision, and continuing education. In addition to private practice, I serve on the board of directors for my community's Family Justice Center and Child Advocacy Center.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, traveling, and playing pickleball, which help bring balance and perspective to my life.
